    I started weekly Taxol treatments 12/30/15. Because of the neuropathy my Onco decided to cut the dosage and go two weeks on and one week off. The problem is that I am swelling up like a balloon, everywhere. I have gained 30 lbs in two months. Trust me, I don't eat that much and I don't add THAT MUCH salt to my diet. Exercize has dropped off a bit due to the fatigue and weather.

    Is this weight/fluid gain normal? Is is going to stop!

    I am going to have to start wearing caftans, I'd rather say that then tent!

    I have a few words for my Onco this week!

    HI LMMax, I think you definitely need to talk to your oncologist. You can see from my profile below that I had 12 weekly taxol treatments. I did gain a little bit of weight and was a little puffy but nothing like you describe. Maybe 2-3 pounds. Please let your MO know.

    In the Weekly Taxol Group there is a member, Marg52, that had this problem. Page 189 I hope you can find her posts. She has several follow-ups.
