Hello All-

I don't post much but I was given some information on shark cartilage and Essiac. I searched the site and didn't come up with too much information.

I was wondering if anyone had experience with these two products.

Thanks for any advice!

Renee

My onc prescribed chondroitin sulfate made from shark cartilage for me once for joint aches. I didn't feel it helped with the pain so I discontinued using it. It must be anti-inflammatory so should be good for us in general. Don't know much about essiac but I do believe in the healing properties of teas.

I do not know about Essiac. The only one I know who's taken shark cartilage was my grandmother who swore by it. She did not have BC, so not sure if it'd interfere with the meds or not. My grandma lived to just a few months shy of her 104th birthday though, so as far as overall health, it sure didn't hurt her any!!!!!
