10. Yes, but I am looking for a specific island in Indonesia. There are only 18,000+ islands in Indosesia. Hehe (evil laugh
-
So it is an island in Indonesia, that is difficult enough (18,000+ islands, he, he - you're too funny!) Not a place on one of the islands?
-
I do hereby pass the "complex" baton to you, Lover! 18,000 islands and we're supposed to guess in twenty?
11. one of the islands whose name is legible in the Wikipedia image?

Sunda Islands Maluku IslandsNew Guinea
12. Is it one of those listed above? (copied from Wikipedia)

-
12. Yes, the island belongs to one of the group of islands listed.
Hint: this island is quite unique. Not one of Indosesia big islands. Geographically, it is sandwiched
-

-

-
Oh, is that all?
-
To clarify, does "close" mean geographically or characteristically?
-
Okay, okay, another hint: close geographically.
-

It's Bali I am looking for. Good job Ceanna!

It lies above the Indian Ocean and below the Bali sea. A very popular place for the Aussies.

Good job ML. Ceanna almost got it yesterday. Layang Layang is also a kite festival taken place in Bali.
If you love traveling, Bali is a nice place to visit. This is my favorite island so far because of the beautiful and friendly people, and no I don't plan to visit all 17 or 18 thousand islands.
Fun facts if you are interested....

This is the only island that I know by name in Indonesia probably that same is true for everyone else here. I wanted to ask Bali? from the start but I thought what are the chances (I almost chose it awhile back when I was running one of these). We probably all have seen South Pacific and know the song Bali High ....is calling. I assume the song is about this island, too funny!
-
LOL, I say too funny because I think that you tricked us all into thinking that you picked some obscure island that we never heard of.
On second thought, I am going to offer this up to anyone else who would like to run it, I need to go out in a little while and I am not certain when I will be back. Thank you and I apologize. Have a wonderful weekend. If no one has started a new game by the time that I return I will do it but no worries if you have.
-
I am not that vicious. I wouldn't pick an obscure place....only interesting places. Hah! Did you read the part where the most expensive coffee does not come from the airport? Just made that up. Bali is one of the place in Indonesia where kopi luwak (coffee made from civet's poop) are produced. Crazy how people pay big buck to drink the coffee. I find it's interesting that almost 90% of Balinese are Hindus given Indonesia has the highest Muslim population.
-
(snorts of laughter) Right, the civet s*** coffee. Though I understand there's some decent coffee in Indonesia that's been processed in the normal way.
-
Wow!!! I, too, had thought of Bali really early on but over-thought and was looking for something even more exotic and isolated!!! Last night I was so tired I even went off track in Malaysia instead of Indonesia before I went to bed!! Good job L of L.
-
Civets poop????? Really????? "BCO - Always eductional"
-
I have one that I hope will be fun? It is a PLACE.
-
1. America?
-
2. tourist destination?
