waiting on BRCA results

I was recently diagnosed with ILC. My .mother is a survivor of 3 different types of breast cancer. Her father was also a breast cancer survivor. Her 1st diagnosis was pre-menopausal. Both sides of my family are of Ashkenazi Jewish decent. I am going crazy waiting for BRCA results.
