Just getting over cold virus but having lingering sinus cough. Scheduled for echo this week, I think I'll be happy when the doctor visits stop.

No doctor called me with mammo results, the report goes to four wtf. I went and picked up report myself as I did one year ago. I paused in the parking lot and I held the envelope and said a prayer, almost in tears i opened the envelope and read. Unlike last year I did not need to look up any words or breast cancer descriptions. I finally have a clean slate, no cancer either breast.

Wishing all of you good news this week!!

Yea Maryellen!! So glad to hear some good news! Came home to a bill from the BS office from my Oct past 6 mo follow up and a recent scare (fat necrosis).. I paid my copay both times but somehow owe 477.00, wtf?!! More phone calls while trying to work to pay for my insurance blah blah blah.

    Happy Monday all!

it just sucks to have financial pressure and try to keep the will to live freely. Safely. And healthy.

So sorry about that bill, DD. I know you can work it out, but what a pain to spend time that way. Not to mention the immediate mood altering effects if opening a simple fucking envelope!

    As dear Bekah says,

    "Rant Over". Carry on.

Good news! "Oh, you can disregard that bill. It was generated while they were transitioning...."  I don't care why just let me have your name, document the date of call and "disregard this bill!"  Thanks for the sympathy Katy. Good to see you're still monitoring this thread :)

Yay Maryellen! I love good news!

On my way home from funeral thing for ex-husband Donnie. So many conflicting overwhelming emotions. Glad I went and glad I'm going home.

2 year old granddaughter who has lost 2 grandfathers in 2 and 1/2 months said their hearts died, then said mommy and daddy have hearts. She refused to look at her grandpa Donnie through everything. I guess it is a bizarre thing to view a dead body, especially for a kid. She also woke up this morning and punched my daughter in the face and refused to apologize, which shocked all of us. Maybe she was mad at my daughter thinking her heart might die and her mommy might leave her. Then she laid in a bed and cried for about an hour. Thankfully kids are resilient, and sadly, she probably won't even remember her two grandpas. But really, my husband and I are the primarygrandma and grandpa because we see them at least three days every week, so as long as I don't die.....not going there!

If this event has done one thing, it has reaffirmed my approach to life as a glass half full one, and I am going to continue making the most of everyday.

Once I quit worrying that flying will give me lymphedema.....rofl.

I had my surgical consult today. The lump in my neck is a cyst. The lump in my remaining boob is a question mark. I have a diagnostic mammo next week plus ultrasound. I'm so over all of it.

You're in my thoughtsTheresa! What an awful time for your family.

Eileen, seriously, a week?? I hate this crap. I'm so sorry you have to worry and wait. I'm glad the neck lump is "just" a cyst.

Hi guys. Just want to say the bracelet is here at JUST the right time. I had no idea how my cancerversary would affect me. I have my 1-year mammogram on Monday and am having nightmares and much anxiety. While I anticipate it will be fine, I didn't expect I would have such extreme anxiety. I hold the bracelet close to my heart and thank my lucky stars I have you all in my life. KSusan, the bracelet will be off to you once I make it through Monday.

    Love you all!

Sue- the bracelet is a token of the great esteem, bond and love we have for each other. I'm so glad it is there for you at the right time. But we (our spirits) would be and will be there for you regardless. Hang in there. Shake those talismen in its face with a great roar. Even if it's just an inside roar. Hugs.

Eileen, thinking about you. They better not drag this process out. Hoping they get things looked at and give you answers soon. Doctors don't seem to understand or care how traumatic this stuff is for us.

Sue, hugs. Let us know as soon as you know and are done. Fingers crossed all goes well, and toes and eyes and everything are crossed.

Back home in San Diego, life is sweet. Every time I get off a plane, the air is amazing.

T, Sorry it's been such a rough week for your family. Glad you can now plow forward.

Eileen, hate that you have to wait a week. Can you call and ask/beg/plead to move it up? The squeaky wheel often gets what she wants!

Sue, (((hugs))) we are here for you

Unfortunately I have a crap ton of other doc appts to work around & am already leaving work early 2 days to work them in. They could see me sooner in the morning but due to (long story) stuff at work I absolutely must be at work between 8-12. So it's not really the place's fault. I have an eye scan today, onc appt next week, seeing my PS again Tuesday.....luckily when all of that is done I have a psych appt. (although my brain has been mostly behaving).
