Went on my journey
For my Nephew's wedding day
So much beauty there
~~~~
Colorado State
Aspens changing their colors
Beautiful Mountains
~~~
Total of 8 states more
Visited with my sister
3 I saw before
~~~
That left 6 new ones
For us to experience
On our own road trip
~~~
A lot of driving
A lot of picture taking
Plenty of sites seen
~~~
But glad to be home
Sleeping in my own bedroom
With my furry friends!
~~~
Still talking to sis
After 5000 mile trip
Must be a record!
LOL. Although it was close - as on the last day she told me my breathing was annoying g. LOL. I told her I wasn't stopping it for her ... LOL
Much love

Strange mix, love and life
Endings and beginnings too
Just keep going on

An absent sister
A long-lost friend, a poet
Where has badger been?
~~~~~
Buying a house and
Selling a house, fixing up
A new badger den!
~~~~~
Holiday presents
No gold, frankincense or myrrh
Love to kith and kin. ♥

Christmas is coming
So much to do I am behind
It comes anyway!
-
Well its that time of year again:
Christmas comes but once a year
Lots of joy and lots of cheer.
Food's great , Company is too;
It's just that there's so much to do!
Haul out the wreaths and and the lights,
Colors shine right through the night!
Buy the presents, trim the tree,
Hope a present's there for me.
Wrapping paper piled so high,
Only one more gift to buy.
But it seems to never end,
There's always just one more to send.
Suddenly before you know it,
Budgets tossed and you just blow it!
Bank account is such a wreck,
That's ok, and what the heck!
Christmas is just once a year,
That's ENOUGH of all that cheer!!!!!!
Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas and Happy Solstice, Merry Yule!
-
Christmas and Solstice
Bring hope and cheer in winter
Blessed Be my friends ♥
-
Winter's here again
Glittering white heavy drifts
Ok. Now we're done!
-
Winter sets in hard
Snow, Cold, wind, but sunshine too
I can live with it!
-
Chop ice and scrape snow.
Clear the walk before temps plunge.
Otherwise, cement.
-
Well, waited too long
Cement and ice not just snow
Need chemicals now!
-
It's all relative.
Months ago 40 seemed cold
Now a brief reprieve
...
Brings us out to bask
in the warm midwinter sun.
Enjoy while I may
...
Turn my face to Spring
Endure the cold descending
once again on us.
-
i watch the red line
It keeps on dropping lower
Confirming the cold
Though you realize
That it's a thermometer
You old dinosaur
Now it's digital
Numbers light up to inform
Red lines SEEM colder....
-
Old Man Winter's art:
Moonlight casts shadows of trees
Long, on soft white snow
That almost seems blue
Reflecting the nighttime sky.
Color palette: cold.
-
Oh I love the snow.
I don't care how much of it
there is. So pretty! ♥
-
Cold air and sunshine
A Wisconsin winter's day
Bright icy white snow
-
kidney stones, no fun
There's pain in my abdomen
Stupid stupid pain!
-
Pass a kidney stone
Is strangely akin to this:
Birthing children.
LOL
-
Ouch Moon! ♥
-
When friends are in pain,
it hurts to know they suffer.
Sending ((gentle hugs)).
-
kidney stones are bad.
But much better than i thought
Well, considering......
LOL. I was glad it was stones and not disease. Glad it was stones and not infection. Glad it wasnt, you know.... LOL

This parking spot's mine--
I shoveled it out myself.
Don't you TOUCH that chair!
Haiku is quirky--
Sometimes it does not make sense:
Refrigerator.
Chicken crosses road
To get to the other side,
And not hear haikus.
-
LOL Sandy! I found this bumper sticker and sent it to Moon:
Haikus confuse me; Too often they make no sense; Hand me the pliers.
-
-
Sold our house today!
New book, new chapter, new page.
No bitter, all sweet. ♥
-
House is sold, yipee!
Happy I am to hear that,
But, you're happier!
-
Implant not leaking.
Never let urologist
Diagnose Foob leaks!
LOL
-
i miss my friends here
I hope they are living life
And enjoying it!
-
Yesterday I thought
I saw a robin. Today
I hear one sing - Spring! ♥
-
Snow has disappeared
Tulips are showing their leaves
In only one day
