So last June I had a 4 mm lump removed that turned out to be an intraductal papilloma. I couldn't even feel the lump and had to have a wire placed so my surgeon could even find it. I only knew it was there because of the intense searing pain that my right breast would experience if it was touched in a certain area. Had surgery everything was fine but healing had some issues.

- really think scarring underneath my skin that also ended up being numb for a bit.

- then 5 weeks post op I got a really bad skin rash.

- now...8 months post op...that pain is coming back. And I'm hoping it's just nerve damage. It's not awful but it's still there. I have an appt set up for tue. But just to give me some peace of mind. I don't know if this helps but I am 29, since I was 20 I have been able to force clear/white discharge out of my breast, only had one baby, nursed for 3 months.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

    Monicaritch-

We're so sorry for the issues you're experiencing. It sounds like it's likely related to your excision, nerve damage is not an uncommon side effect. But it's good you're being proactive and have an appointment already scheduled to follow-up! Please keep us posted on how it goes!

I called my surgeon yesterday and have an appt set up for tue. Hopefully get some answers there. Thank you for even replying. I really appreciate it. I did find some past posts that were very similar to mine so at least I know I'm not one weirdo case that all by my lonesome. Lol.
