cabbage leaves

Options

Hello! Although I'm very early in treatment, after three treatments I'm bright pink and already sore. Can you please tell me more about the cabbage leaves? Do you store them in the fridge or freezer? Many thanks!!

I don't know anything about cabbage leaves but one RO told me she had a patient who had excellent results using (organic) canned pumpkin paste.

I applied cold packs and pure aloe immediately after each treatment (in the dressing room) then followed up with Boiron's calendula lotion, more aloe and finally Emu oil at bedtime, usually with another cold pack. My skin did far better than I'd expected.

However, each woman seems to react differently...

I hope you find something that really soothes the area.

Sooo, cabbage leaves....there is some chemical reason why they work that I do not know but...buy a reg cabbage, wash and dry the indiv leaves and store in fridge. Put one on the affected breast until it is warm/hot to the touch. They seem to take the heat and pink/red out of the rad breast tissue. I used them near the end of rads and just wish I had known about them sooner! God luck and sending hugs to you!

There is a GREAT group of women in the WInter 2016 rads thread....seriously might want to go there. Fall 2016 group is amazing as well!
