Revision surgery of dog ears and necrosis

Options

I'm 20 months out from bilateral. I have lots of necrosis on the left side due to previous radiation (7 years ago). Decided to have a p.c. dig out necrosis, take extra skin away, Lipo dog ears In order to get totally flat "10 year old boy" flat. Big incisions. How long will recovery be? I know it varies.

That is a good question - I'm having dog ears done this friday and one of my open wound scars is going to be redone. PS is doing it in office and just numbing me. Told me - I could drive myself to the appointment LOL - NOT - Did tell me that it would just be small scars so I should be fine. Hope yours goes well.

I just read this because I have dog ears and very uneven chest area I would like smoothed out. How did you surgery go?

I had extra skin removed and the folds smoothed out in November on my prophylactic side. I obviously can't say what recovery is like with respect to dog ears, but my surgery and recovery was easy. I was a little sore the day after surgery, but felt completely back to normal by the second day
