Sticks on fire today - looking bright and cheerful :

Wow, pretty!
)
Daughter was able to take the following 2 wild turkey photos.
The flock was skittish.
-
pretty!

A little bit- I have a small one of these in a pot in my house. I love how they turn pink in the winter. I saw some huge ones like that during a trip to Palm Springs over Xmas time. That is one beautiful one for sure! Winter blooms are special!
-
Thank you everyone for your comments 😀 I love gardening and seeing plants grow
-
ALittleBit- we tend to be more active here in the spring, summer and fall, but are keeping this thread going any ways we can during the winter months here in the US.
-
It's been a while since I've been able to get out into my garden. Too much rain!

I decided to go back to some of my old garden pics and wanted to share this amazing century plant bloom from 2013. This was on my neighbors property to the south, and if you have never seen one of these, the bloom must be like 10 feet tall. After the century plant blooms, it dies, but when my neighbor pulled it out after it had done it's thing, she found little ones underneath. It left babies!
-
That is so cool!
-
very cool.
-
Jazzy, did you get one of the babies?
-
Split-bean, lovely photo!!
I woke up this morning without a sore throat and almost over a pesky cold. :o)
-
Teka- my neighbor left them in place but I do have one from another friend I exchange cactus and other succulent cuttings with. Been getting it started, but not transplanted it yet.
Trying to figure out where I can have a big bloom like that in my little yard!
-
Jazzy, half the fun of gardening! ;o)
-
-
Split- that is so cute. Teka is going to really love that one!
-
Yes, cutie! ;o)

Hi, all! I've been enjoying your pictures so much. This is blah time in Austin: no snow, no flowers, just cedar pollen for horrendous "cedar fever" allergies. Dear Son took some photos on the way home to Austin from Lubbock, TX, when a blizzard blew in, decimating cotton fields before his eyes. Starkbeauty, I think. ✌️❤️Linda
-
Booklady- stark beauty is right. That is a great photo!
-
I would like to find this in my garden!
-
Split Bean and Jazz - so cute!
-
I went out on my porch to check, but no puppy
-
Linda, like the cotton fields photo!
Jazzy, no way could resist that puppy!

It was 61 degrees today here in Ohio. Overcast and a bit windy, but still, Dh and I took advantage of it and spent the whole afternoon giving a heavy pruning to one of our apple trees. We'll do the other apple tree next time we get a mild winter day and he has the day off. We pulled out the fire pit and burned some of the debris.
I did a small bit of weeding in one flower bed. Why is it the cold temps don't kill many of the weeds? Not fair!
It's always a nice break in the winter to get a mild day or two and get outside for some early yard work. -
How about this one my gardening friends?
-
Can you imagine how long that took to grow?
-
That's a lovely cat. ^..^
-
Perennial border in a state! But the birds are lovely anyone want to take a walk with me in my garden?
This is my first spring in my house. Lots of work to do (see above link) but some nice surprises also:

Jackiebird-yay for blooms! It is unusually warm here right now, with temps forecasted to go into the 70s today. I expect that our flowering fruit trees will be on schedule or even early with their blooms this year at the end of February. Will be sure to share as I walk around and take photos in the neighborhood.
