8 years later and having a recall in the other breast

I am terrified. I was diagnosed with stage 3 Her2 positive breast cancer 8 years ago. I had one recall for my right breast four years ago. all was well....last week i had a mammogram in my right breast and have been recalled. i go tomorrow...in my mind....i am overwhelmed. My breast has been sore but so has my left reconstructed...i do a lot of cash retail...i have imagined every possible doom and gloom situation....I am so scared.....has this or is this happening to anyone else???....I guess fear is normal but having gone through chemo and radiation and perception before....am I the only person who has been terrified going to their mammogram/ultrasound....not knowing is the worst!!!

    SQL, I had a call back over some calcifications but they were minor. Scared me. Although I haven't had a call back such as yours, I just wanted to wish well for tomorrow and please know that I am thinking of you. Let us know how it goes.

    SQL, I get called back all the time, then they take extra pics and an ultrasound. It IS scary, sad thing is, I am getting kind of used to it. I KNOW darn spell check turned Herceptin into perception, it does that to me too! I will be holding you in my thoughts. Did they tell you anything?
