After much thought, I need to stick to the original answer of number 16. This instrument is rarely played standing up, although some have tried. Sorry for the confusion. I won't count # 17.

(blushes) Just read back over my own questions....so the brief recap is: it's an instrument with strings, which is rarely played standing up, It's too big to carry, and requires electricity or batteries.

Recap: a musical instrument (not piano, harp, or guitar). It has STRING and rarely is played standing up.
Edit to add: it can't be carried easily like a violin or flute.
