Nothing perfect or flashy in my garden, but these little daffodils greet guests at my doorstep and the folk figures make them laugh. She's clutching roses to her breast, he holds a turtle in his hands and a cigar in his teeth.
It's a beautiful, odd world, dear Rosevalley.
I feel grateful for my short visit here, I'll last longer than these daffodils that will fade and fall within days.
To each a season and always, may loving kindness pervade, Stephanie
Grief and gratitude are kindred souls, each pointing to the beauty of what is transient and given to us by grace. – PATRICIA CAMPBELL CARLSON

Rosevalley- this beautiful bald eagle standing in the Rio Grande river here in town was taken by someone locally. A pair of bald eagles have been sighted down here in the valley and perhaps taking up residence. They tend to live more up in the mountains, but are also known to nest along the rivers for food sources for the young.

A few days ago, these plum sticks had tight brown buds, then green and this morning - white blossoms.
Ah, the scent dear Rosevalley.
I so wish it could waft your way and fill your day with beauty.
I so wish for beauty, peace and loving kindness to enfold you and hold you safe, even amidst suffering.
This livingly dying is such a paradox.
your sister in mets, Stephanie

Hugs in return! Been kind of a lonely day. DH and DD3 at ski weekend and having a good time. DH doesn't ski provides moral support and transportation. :-) I am holding down the fort, letting the dog out, checking my phone.. napping.. not doing much. Not like I do much anyway. I will hook up fluids in a bit.. tank myself up. Managed to down one and half Boosts and vanilla ice cream. Haven't tossed anything today. Yesterday was a bust on that score.
Thanks for thinking of me. (((Hugs))) be well and thrive. May you all be free of pain and suffering and be happy. love rosevalley

Rosevalley- I am sorry you are home alone today. Got any BFF's near by who could stop over for a visit? Sometimes poeple are just waiting to be asked, not knowing if a person wants company or not?

Hooray for keeping the boost down. May the digestive tract continue to run at par.

Sisters to the plum blossoms, these fragile beauties also grow on long, brown branches, beginning as hard, brown buds opening to softer green sepals, then to this gentle, pink quince blossom.
The markets in San Francisco's Chinatown offer quince stems around Chinese Lunar New Year and their lovely grace symbolizes prosperity.
Like the plum, apple, pear and strawberry, the quince are in the rose family, so I offer you this gentle gift on this gentle day, dear Rose!
warmest healing wishes, Stephanie
