Did I mention that Vermont politics can be...not how outlanders expect things to be? He ran as a Republican, because Vermont didn't care for the Republican candidate for Senate in 1998, simply so Leahy would win, in essence unopposed.

I did a search with the information that Queen provided, I originally was working from a list of famous people from Vermont and I saw his name but because Wiki stated that he was the star of some movie I thought it wouldn't be him, I should have further investigated.
