Waiting for result but scheduled for more tests?

Should CT scan and bone scan be done after biopsy? Or it's done while awaiting result?

    Hi Kellii! Welcome to Breastcancer.org. We're sorry that you're here and waiting, but glad you've found us!

    Other members will come along soon to tell you their personal stories but in general, the doctor may order a CT scan (click on the link for more info) to examine other parts of the body where breast cancer can spread, but normally once biopsy had revealed breast cancer. Did they schedule you for a CT and bone scan before biopsy results? Good luck with tests! Please let us know how it goes.

    thanks for your reply.

    The bone and ct scan is scheduled prior the result so am puzzled and worried.

    So am wondering should await the result 1st b4 the scan or just proceed as per scheduled. :
