Here's another way to say it
that may seem more simple to some.
First you have to create an album,
or put your pics somewhere one the web,
you can not put directly from you PC
into here at the forum,
and so after you find a place on the web to put
your images, then, so it can be seen in here,
you link this this way, and one by one
you have to write this on your text when posting:

Note with no empty spaces.
Check this, with this text line above, in between
I will put there your avatar address and let's see what happens.
Your avatar is in this forum somewhere,
to check your image=avatar address,
I click with the right button of the mouse
up on your avatar for properties,
and so I have its address, it gives me:
http://community.breastcancer.org/ubbimages/26326.jpg
if you click here at this adress you will see yourself,
and if I paste this same text line in between
here's what happens in here in my post:
.
let's do it again, here's another:
.
See?
Hope this helps.
Now I'm going to search some pics to post ...
Nice idea of pictures of whatever ...
We do not have snow in here where I live, NEVER.
In fact I didn't had any idea of snow already in there ...
Yes, I'm one of those that get a bit dumb knowing
that some have months and months and long months of snow ...
Nice pics everyone. -
Hi ladies, I thought we'd have some sunshine to go with the snow. I took this one today.
-
Love the pics!
The burning rosebush is one of my favorite shots. I actually have a few like that. And no the rosebush is not actually on fire. It's the fire in my fireplace reflecting off the window that looks out over my rose bushes. But don't tell anyone my secret -
Wow... is that an orange or a grapefruit tree? As I lay here listening to the pounding of the rain, on my roof, my thoughts wander to warm, dry, exotic places... oh well..dream on
-
Hi Feb, it's a tangerine tree and they're just starting to ripen. I'm in Greece and even for here it's decidedly warm for this time of year.
Hugs

cheryl---
your burning rose bush pic is a very effective optical illusion....really clever!!! thanks for explaining it.

Alaska Deb... I took this last year at Mendenhall Glacier..what beautiful country...
-
Beautiful pics
-
Ok, I'll try this but not sure if it will work. These are some pictures I took in Galveston, Tx.
Let's see if these make it and I will post more. -
Here is Zion National Park
-
This is fun! Just got a new camera and just learned how to post pics! This is a fish pond in the park in the village where I live. It's my goal to get up there on my walk and then turn around and walk home. One day I caught a dog wading in there but I didn't have my camera!
-
Pictures taken out of my house windows, brr too cold to go outside!
The 2nd pic shows a cornfield in the far background that hasn't been harvested yet.
The last is our bird feeders in the backyard.
Grand total for today is 13". -
OK...this is just a test...not sure if this will work
Deb C. -
Oh My GOODNESS! It worked! So, now how do I make the photos bigger or smaller???
Deb C. -
Goodness ... all that snow already!?!?! ...
To warm up your Winter a bit
here goes how things been around here.
This two pics are from last weekend
at the end of the day,
today still was 26ºC = 78.8ºF...
Hugs. -
Woooooraaayyyy !!!! YUUUUPIIIIIIIIIII !!!!!! ...
Now somewhere either in the programs that came with your cam,
or in your PC you must have something like an Image Editing Program,
such Photoshop for instance but any other will do.
In this kind of programs there's an option of image size or resize
if you look around for this kind of words you'll find it.
In there you insert the size you want.
You set the size you want, save, then put your images on
your photo album, and do what you just did in here.
It can be a bit complicated to figure
how an image can get when posted and then viewed in here,
as a guide line for instance I use around 560 points=pixels width.
For me at least in here, neither is to huge neither too small.
Hugs. -
There is a free download on Microsoft.com to resize your pictures..http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/digitalphotography/learnmore/tips/eschelman2.mspx
This is not the Alaska I thought I would see..it is the rain forest in Juneau last year. -
