I'm just trying to think of something plural that fits your description of mainly girls but males later in life. I can think of things that are names in "pairs," pants, shorts, trousers, glasses, sunglasses, binoculars, etc. but nothing more specific to females.
Thanks for sharing about your town and weather. I live in a snowbelt area and I don't like snow!! Can we switch locations?
