    I'm sorry to hear about your implant.  I opted out of reconstruction so I am flat on one side.  I just finished my treatment. The year of Herceptin infusions wasn't all that tough after all but I have been struggling with auto-immune thyroiditis that came on after chemo but before I started radiation.  That too is much better now.  I had my first mammogram yesterday and I am fretting on results I won't have until tomorrow.  I'm thinking seriously of having prophylactic mastectomy  just so I won't have that anxiety ever again.  Nerve pain?  Did you have axillary dissection too?  I can't remember.  I have occasional burning sensations but not too unbearable.  Life is good and I am glad to be marching ahead.  Good to hear from you.  Happy Cancervesary to us all and MANY, MANY more.

    Thankful for my life, though it is much different than it was two years ago, I am alive and I am grateful. Just a moment of silence to remember those from this group how haven't made it as far as we have.

    Hey, ladies. I'm back in the soup. Mets to spine and I have kyphoplasty for fractured L2 this week. I return to the chair for chemo on Friday. Still grateful for this life but definitely working hard to keep positive today. Hope the rest of you are well and enjoying this gorgeous fall weather.
