Yes Peppermint! I can tell by the things you say about your Husband.... he sounds magnificent! Taking a baby on a trip alone says it all.

My DD2 goes to those painting a wine drinking things a lot with her friend! They have a great time! Any time you can go have fun with your friends is good! Maybe just coffee, or lunch..... it's always the best.

DH used to race his Chevy also.... out in Castle Rock.... I forget the name of that track.... We still like to watch the Drags.... but my favorite is Nascar.... The Sprint series starts this month! Oh wait.... I remember years ago, getting in his Brother's little 56 Vette.... All souped up.... Driving down by our Daughter's grade school.... He gunned that thing, and we SAILED down Perry .... The HOOD flew off flying in the air over the fence into the school yard! I was SCREAMING! I got out when he stopped, and walked back home!!!

I couldn't give a chit if he EVER got that hood on, or even got HOME for that matter! I don't remember what I did after..... I can think of a few things I SHOULD have done..... Ha!

Sometimes you wonder how you made it THIS far......

Patty, you should go. It sounds like fun! You don't have to drink wine, I'm sure they have non-alcoholic beverages too.

Boys and their toys,, seems like a lot of you have hubby's that like those muscle cars.

Well he did.... Not so much now.... And he hasn't even driven his car.... an 89 Topaz in about 6 months! I'm glad.... I do all the driving.... I think he just wants to hang onto it, "just because"....

We are 78.... So no need to drive too far.... I know some people drive into their 90's.... but that thought scares me..... I'll know when it's time to hang up the keys.... I don't FEEL older.... but it SOUNDS so old! Gotta make each day count.... right?

DH had the hot cars, his bro had a 68 Z28..Another bro built a Chevy panel wagon you could hear 4 blocks away. It was fun. This last Mustang had a tiny straight 6. But somewhere in its life somebody was gonna put something BIG upfront cause it had the wrong rear end.

We had to go get his drivers license on a Monday, right after we got married.... He was ticketed for loud mufflers, and couldn't drive...Ha! It sounded SO good though, going down a hill.... He had the heat-risers blocked.... that low rumble, that drove all the neighbors nuts....so they reported him.... He was driving his 51 Oldsmobile....

And he never got another ticket! He SHOULD have, but just didn't get caught! Hah!

Jazzy and Cubbie, you don't do that in your convertables, do you?

Growing up I had a few experiences as a passenger in a mustang going at probably close to 100 mph on a surface street. Each time I thought I was not going to make it home in one piece. I am not sure if my uncle ever got tickets for drinking and driving. Life was fast and furious for him on the weekends. Amazing that I am still here.

Got an Evie fix today. Getting bigger all the time. She 4 weeks already! Got to feed her. Her mom has stopped trying to breast feed, too bad but it gives the rest of us a chance to feed her and her dad gets to help out more.

Saw my doc today. She's ordered an ultrasound, so that's next week. Will try a different anti acid drug and see if that helps. Might even be scar tissue from the gallbladder sx.And I'm now old enough for a bone density test! Ha!

You look good Smarty! How fun to have a new baby in the family!

We have about 12 inches of snow! Can hardly get the back door open...

    image

Had the patio and walk shoveled last night, but maybe 10 inches on top of that! We won't be going out in it.... Just have to clear a path to fill the squirrel feeders... if they come out today....

If you look real close, you can see a resident squirrel on top of the fence on the left-side green feeder! He just snatched him a snack!

    Smarrty, great pic.............

Loverly, mitzy's biome is off. Has she been wormed? Try some probiotics. Open the capsule and sprinkle on food. What food is she on? it may not agree with her. Generally, stools shouldn't be that foul.

Just lost a long post. Hope I remember everything.

Sorry Lover for not responding sooner to your post. Yes twins are the girls. DD1 (aka Baby A) is the one whose DBF wants to meet with DH and myself. DD2 (Baby B by a whole ten minutes) is the facilitator in this. DH and I are pretty sure we know what this is about. DD1 indicated last year how serious the two of them are and that DBF wanted to talk to DH before taking the next step in the relationship. Hmmm, I hope we're right.

Spookie, I knew Chevy would get you for your weather report. And Miss Chevy, keep the snow out west. We lost a small gutter on our house. Can't get it fixed until Saturday. We were lucky. Five houses on our side lost their major gutters. So my mantra ISO: No. More. Snow!

Smaarty, Evie is a beauty. You look sooo happy holding her.

Patty, how are your get-away plans coming along. I'm living vicariously through you on those! LOL

To all of you not feeling well, I hope you're on the mend

I think you might be right. I started her on Tri-Heart Plus (ivermectin/pyrantel) last month. she is currently transitioning from Nature's Domain (Costco's) over to Exceed (Sam's).
