Prayer to Saint Peregrine
O great St. Peregrine, you have been called "The Mighty," "The Wonder-Worker," because of the numerous miracles which you have obtained from God for those who have had recourse to you.For so many years you bore in your own flesh this cancerous disease that destroys the very fibre of our being, and who had recourse to the source of all grace when the power of man could do no more. You were favoured with the vision of Jesus coming down from His Cross to heal your affliction. Ask of God and Our Lady, the cure of the sick whom we entrust to you.
(Pause here and silently recall the names of the sick for whom you are praying)
Aided in this way by your powerful intercession, we shall sing to God, now and for all eternity, a song of gratitude for His great goodness and mercy.Amen.

dear Heavenly Father, there are so many having a difficult time. Please be with them. Comfort them. Keep them safe. Give them peace. I pray that they know you and trust you. And if it is your will, make it all go away. Let those who are struggling know that you are God. You are what we seek. Forgive us our sins and help us all to keep the faith. Ame

Heavenly Father, Comfort those who are facing challenges and beginning to lose hope. Let them feel your arms around them and surround them with your loving strength. Provide relief for those in pain. Bless our caregivers who devote so much time and energy to help us through difficult times. Guide our doctors to the treatments we need, and give them the knowledge, strength, and understanding they need to administer to us with patience and kindness. Amen

Heavenly Father, Give us strength when we are weak. Comfort us when we are filled with despair. Steady us when we stumble. Protect us when we face danger. Help us see beyond our own suffering so that we can help others on their journey through this life. Let us not forget that You are with us every moment of every day. Amen

Prayers for all of us struggling with this disease, may we experience a miracle and find relief from pain and/or a new treatment that is effective in treating the cancer. Finally, I pray that a cure is found soon for all cancers.

Heavenly Father, My heart is heavy with the burden I have been given. When I look ahead I do not see an end to my journey. Lighten my heart so that I can work through these difficult times. My head is spinning with thoughts of all I have to do. Hold me in Your arms so that I can complete the tasks I am meant to do. My eyes are burning from the sights of suffering and hatred in our world. Let me see the path I should follow to ease the suffering and heal the hatred. I am weak with self-doubt and overwhelmed by the fear of failure. Give me the strength that only You can provide and calm my fears by wrapping me in Your love. Amen
