arimidex and urinary frequency

Does anyone experience a sensation of  needing to pee constantly wilst on als.  It is a horrid irritated sensation with a pressure feeling.  I am very sore and tender down below anyway and wondered if the drugs affect the bladder as well as vagina.

Of course I am worrying but had a pelvic mri about 10 months ago which was clear.

Any advice girls

    Have you ruled out UTI?

    Hi Maria. First you have to rule out a urinary tract infection by having your urine tested. There is actually an OTC version you can buy at any drugstore. Next if you don't have an UTI you could have something called interstitial cystitis which can be caused by low estrogen levels which of course is the result of taking an anti hormone. I have interstitial cystitis and its very painful and hard to live with. You should see an urologist if you do not have an UTI. Please feel free to private message me if you want more details...
