Hi Blondie!! Thinking of you!!
-
finally got out of the house today .... Unfortunately for a ct scan. Meet with my onc tomorrow for results. They also hope to determine where would be the easiest spot to biopsy. Did have a chance to stop and buy my granddaughter some newborn outfits. She is actually too small for the 0-3 months size. They swallow her up. She has gained weight since birth though and is doing well. Hubby is cooking dinner and I am sitting in my recliner like a princess. So glad he decided that he enjoyed cooking. I don't think I ever have. It's just something you do when you have kids. Glad we've had some warmer temperatures to melt some of the snow. I do hope that is the only snow we have this winter! Hope all of you with kids have enjoyed your time with them. I always loved snow days and playing outdoors with my kids. How long til spring?

Hi Blondie, just checking in after a fun Arizona vacation. Nice weather and pretty desert scenery (not as nice as an ocean of course, but sure beats North Dakota in January!).
-
Blondie, I have had the laziest of days. Chemo fatigue is the culprit. Sure hope I'm able to get something done this weekend. The weather was beautiful here in Maryland though a bit chilly. We had about half an hour of beautiful snow flakes this morning but nothing stuck and then the sun came out and it was gorgeous. Hope you're able to look out a window when it is this pretty and enjoy the sunshine. Think of you each and every day
-
Tomboy, hahaha....very cute picture!
Ruth, I really like Arizona!! If you ever get a chance to go to Sedona - GO! The red rock is so beautiful. Maybe one of your yearly trips!!
I have a story to tell about our very special friend, Blondie.
My cell phone rang one day and I noticed it was her. I kept saying hello, but didn't hear normal "hey" back. In the background I thought I heard yelling. I kept calling her name, but didn't hear her voice on the other end. Then I heard very clearly, "DROP YOUR WEAPON." I was reluctant to say anything after I heard those words. I wondered if she was getting robbed or had something going on in her house that was scaring her. I sat quietly and listened. I thought maybe she called me as an emergency, and wanted me to hear what was going on. Then I heard yelling again and another "STAND STILL AND DROP YOUR WEAPON."
At this point I started to get really alarmed. Do I call the police? Is she trying to tell me something? I heard more yelling and I put my cell phone on mute, just in case the robber or intruder saw her with the phone. At this point I called my DH over to help me listen. We both listened intently trying to figure out what the heck was going on. We started debating on what we should do. Call the police in her area?? Call 911?? I unmuted the phone and quietly asked Blondie if she was ok? I heard her say "yeah", but she sounded far away. My DH and I kept hearing voices in the background, but we couldn't really make out what anyone was saying. We determined some kind of scuffle was going on. By this time if anyone was looking at my heart, I'm sure they would have seen it beating out of my chest.
Then I heard that wonderful voice I've grown to love. She doesn't know this, but I LOVE hearing her east coast accent . My DH and I both heard her chatting away on her phone. She was having a normal conversation with no tone of alarm. We still heard the voices in the background, but now they didn't sound as loud. That is when we realized she had BUTT dialed me!! The voices we were hearing were coming from her TV.
My DH and I still laugh about that story. Blondie had no idea I was on the other line. She had a good laugh when I told her what happened. I love when she laughs. It is music to my ears.
Blondie gave me permission to tell this story. I just love you to pieces miss Blondie. I bet you were watching Perry Mason. hahaha
-
Slowddeep, Can you tell the story of Blondies tats, she told me when we met in Orlando. But I can't remember the total. They were all lady bug related with a story. I was crunched at the time thinking-----oh I need to remember this, made it worse. Each tat had a story.
-
sas-schatzi, Unfortunately, Blondie never told me the story about the tats.
-
