TallnTerrific: thinking about your sweet sister in law, Denise, and sending love and prayers to you and your family.

LovingisLiving: hugs for you and your brother. I saw you over the RoseValley, I'm in Shock, and ** AMEN ** threads as well. I started a thread for my friend who is Stage IV. https://community.breastcancer.org/forum/16/topics/840696

After two doses of the two antibiotics, my fever broke. It's been 2 days since my last Tylenol and no fever. Thank you all for your prayers and thoughts.

Though I was an October surgery I still follow this thread and always wishing the best for all. I'm now finished chemo. No rads for me. I have moved onto hormonal therapy; Ariimidex. Always a new set of side effects bringing new challenges. Hugs all.

Hi, November surgery buddies. It seems like such a long time ago and that so much has happened since we started out here. Some of us have gone on to radiation, some to chemo, some are working on reconstruction....what a journey this is. But I see everyone's names, and I remember things we've struggled with, questions we've asked. Thank goodness for the interwebs!

TallnTerrific: Huge hugs for you about your sister-in-law. I am so so sorry that you have that to deal with along with everything else.

Hi, new_me!!! The second surgery was easy. I wasn't nervous at all - a friend who's a psychic (I know, I know) that has known me for like 20 years said - Don't worry, it was the dye for the lymph nodes. So before surgery I told the surgeon she didn't have to worry at all about my blood pressure, my psychic said so. *rofl* I was in wayyyyyyy more pain afterwards. The four hour drive home was a nightmare, but I survived.

I'm just ready to have all this done and over with, which by calculations isn't even going to be this time next year. But good things come to those who wait. There are lessons to be learned, lives to be touched and for theirs to touch me, and all that....and in between, lots of wigs, hats, and scarves to shop for! :D I can't believe I just bought I near butt length platinum wig today. What was I thinking. Chemo brain already? I don't even know what to say for myself except that it was on sale?

Frill, that last comment gave me a good giggle you know you will have to post a picture of you in that platinum wig! I am so happy for you that surgery went well. Our November group was/is a pretty good circle. It sounds cliche but i learned alot from my November surgery sisters about caring and compassion, tolerance and acceptance and humility, strength and bravery.

Frill, I'm happy to see. I'm confused by the long list of treatments and their dates. Do you have stuff planned out through 2017? Re-reading your post, yes. Yowza!! So I want to see you in some of these wigs, hats, and scarves, most especially your near butt length platinum wig!!

And while we're sharing pictures, this is me September 2015 at the St. Baldrick's Shaving Event to conquer Childhood Cancer, and me early December 2015, and a before of me back in March 2015 (OK, I needed a hair cut in that one). So Frill, your pictures will be much better than mine.

Good to see you Diane/new_me! Your exchange is coming up next month. You'll love the squishy, non-rock side.

Good to see you too, Donna/Smurfette. I hope the Ariimidex is treating you well.

    Love to all,

    Mominator

Hello to my november sisters! I will have my exchangesurgery on March 16. Wow the months have zoomed by. It has been uneventful and i am ready for this next step. I think my righy TE has a slow leak. I have 450cc in left and PS keeps adding to right (now at 625cc!) but it never gets bigger and still looks smaller than left. PS said he won't know what is going on until he opens me up. So because the right is still a bit smaller he will probably fit the implant (gummi) to that side and take the excessive tissue out of the left so they 'match' meaning i will be smaller than anticipated. I am disappointed but remind myself it is better than nothing. I will also have fat grafts to smooth out areas.

I finally got around to reading the BMX pathology report. It shows that my left breast had several suspicious areas and a specific area of ADH (atypical ductal hyperplasia) that was 3cm very deep in my breast. So thankful i decided to go ahead with the PBMX. My dr said it would have become cancer and with my brca2 mutation it would have gone fast (like both of my sisters).

Now of course i am worried that something might still pop up in the future ... what if the surgeon didn't remove all the breast tissue she should have? PS said i seem to have alot of tissue left on that side ... is it breast tissue? Argh! It (worry) never ends does it?

    hello Ladies

Had my second revision surgery to swap out implants to larger ones and also had some fat graphing ... Surgery was so much easier then the double mastectomy ! Thank goodness !! Have had some issues with one drain leaking a bit ..ugh hate these drains .. Also have broken out in an itchy rash ... It's always something with us lol ...waiting to fix nipples

In a few more months ... Can't wait to stop all this madness

Hope your all doing well ๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿ˜˜
