Do you have trouble with your implants easily getting cold and shivering your whole body, especially in the winter months? What do you do to combat it?

Yes.....there is not much tissue over them to keep them warm. It was worse when I first got the implants. Maybe I don't notice it as much anymore....maybe I am use to it now. I do have it happen from time to time but not as much as before. Many of us have this....

I've never really noticed that. Maybe it's because I've had fat grafting? Or live in an area that doesn't get extremely cold?

    Hi Chip,

Yes, I've had that cold feeling, too. I posted a while back about it, and it seems that some ladies do and some dont. I would assume it depends on the climate we live in, as well as how thick the skin and fat layer is that we have.

I purchased a thin, lightweight down vest that is easy to put on and take off, and that helps!

    Stay warm!

I totally had this and agree with the above - it does get better with time.

I wore vests…fleece vests…an extra layer that first year. It was very noticeable and I shivered a lot. Doesn't bother me and/or I don't notice it much anymore.
