Hope you like cyclamen (from my back yard, taken today)

So good to hear you are a bit better today. I am really sorry you are not getting the help you desperately need from your insurance. It is ashame that the company uses the name of Christ in vain....such hypocrisy. It is sad that compassion is replaced by the hunger for gain.

Hope I make sense this eve. Pre meds and chemo today. Heads a bit messed up. But this was prett

Ohhh I love all the pictures!! The Japanese Garden is one of my favorite places in Portland. It's where I wantd to go after I was diagnosed and whenever the cancer returned and I was sad and depressed. It is a magical place full of exquisite details and lovely vistas, plants, irises, rhodies and azaleas... koi and waterfalls, Tea gardens and hidden benches to meditate. It's heaven here on earth. The Portland Rhodie Garden is also magnificient. There is a part of me that wants to hang on to see my DD3's birthday in March and the Rhodies bloom and the earth sings in flowers...azaleas, rhodies, tulips, cherry blosoms and tiny crab apples.. my favorite time of year.
I got hydration therapy finally that will access my port and I will be able to give myself fluids 3 times a week. Thank heavens.. my kidneys are singing. The pole and fluids came today. Yay..a little ray of hope for relief. I am grateful.
lovingkindness to you all. Much love to all. Good luck Susan.

This is a statue of St. Fiachra in the Irish Japanese gardens.
This is an Irish butterfly called a Silver Winged Fritillary
This is a beautiful pond lily
and a stag made from wood
the Irish Japanese gardens is laid out as the journey of a soul.
This is the Bridge of Life.

Rosevalley, I read that you love the Portland Rhodie Garden. I live just a short walk from there and while there are no blooms right now, of course, there is always wildlife. I thought you might enjoy this photo from there. And I just checked the rhodie in my front yard and it's filled with deep rose-colored buds. I hope our warm (for PDX anyway) and sunny weather this afternoon finds you resting comfortably.

Here is one for you Rosie!
Last time I was in England, we went to the Kew, and they have a splendid Japanese garden
Glad to hear you are getting hydrated!
-
Rosevalley, may every day bring some beauty and comfort into your life. I am so thankful that you finally got some relief from pain...I agree with Loveroflife that it is a sad state of affairs when greed overrides compassion.
