CAN ANYONE HELP ME WITH INFORMATION STAGE IV BREAST CANCER

Hello, I am writing on behalf of my mom who was diagnosed with stage IV breast cancer in October 2012 she was 44 years old at the time I am assuming the cancer was there maybe 6 months to a year prior to diagnosis because it was beyond the breast and in the bones already. currently it has spread to other distant organs lungs, liver, and as of recently the lumbar spine, I just want some information on how I can manage her pain the doctors haven't said how much longer she may have to live but I can say last month she was talking walking eating laughing using the bathroom, as of 3 weeks ago she hasn't used the bathroom (bowl movement,) she hasn't eaten a meal since Christmas, she currently can hardly feel her legs or walk , she cant swallow any liquids or solids. it could just be me but I feel like the hospital she goes to isn't caring for her properly I was wondering if there is anyone on here who has suffered from this has any ideas what can be done to help her pain I cant just watch her suffer any longer. please help.
