Does anyone know if these new bras have pockets and/or would work for those of us wearing a prosthetic?

    Hi Carol,

I just checked out the site. It looks as if the bras are meant for women who have had reconstruction, since even on the pictures with labels of all the bras' features, they don't mention pockets. That would be too bad, since there are some pretty bras. I hope someone comes along who knows the answer.

I met the founder at the Young Survival Coalition conference in March, and I believe she said she is working on a line that can be used with prosthetics. She super nice, and I'm sure would respond if you messaged her on social media.

Considering having this dang expander removed after chemo. Not sure why I even went for it. The sad fact is, I thought most everyone did it!

One thing that pursueded me to go ahead with reconstuction was the fact that I am a high school teacher. I am "on display" all day long.

    Are the prostheses comfortable?

Would love to hear more from those who did not choose reconstruction.

    xoxo

gardengypsy, I had a double mastectomy last May and wear breast forms. I wear the Amoena Essential Light silicon forms with an Amoena Marlena bra. I find it very comfortable, so much so that I forget I'm wearing them. I have a long day (work full time with a commute) and I go to the gym at lunch, and I have no issues whatsoever. I'm a size A (38A bra with size 5 form) so I don't know if that matters.Good luck!
