yep stage 3A ----- PR and HER2 negative and ER positive ....
-
-
Just to be clear, what do you mean by "late stage type III? There's stage, grade, and HER2. Katy
-
YUP - I'm IBC Stage IIIc, ER+/PR- and HER2 -. (Stage is not 'type' - DCIS, IDC, ILC, IBC are types.)
-
Add me to the list.
-
Please add me too. I am almost one year from my diagnosis.
-
Me too!
-
Me too. But, stage III is not considered late stage.
Stage III, grade 2, ER/PR+, HER2-, 5 positive nodes. Two years from diagnosis.
-
Me too
-
I am. While stage III isn't considered late stage, I did read under dx for my CT scan, advanced bc- so I think it's one of those things where some think it is and some don't.
-
I'm stage 3a and HER negative
-
I am. I'd suggest that Stage III is late stage since Stage IV is the final stage.
-
stage 3 is considered LOCALLY advanced, stage IIIC is probably more advanced but generally we are seen as higher risk not "advanced"
-
I am stage IIIA ER+.PR+.HER -. 3A is considered locally advanced requiring maximum treatment - surgery, chemotherapy and radiation, However in clinical studies, 3A is considered early stage breast cancer
-
My tumors fit this category too. Not ME, just my tumors. :-)
-
Yes.
I am post-surgery, now beginning my course of AC+T, dose dense.
ER+, PR+, HER2-.
To chime in, I do think IIIA is considered "early-stage."
-
I was diagnosed as IIIc, ER/PR+, HER2-.
-
Stage 3B. ER+ Pr- her2-. I notice quite a few herewith the PR -. I've read lots of different things about that. It seems that they are unclear about its ramifications,
-
Yup - Stage IIIC is about as late as it gets before Stage IV!
Check out my stats...

Me too... Also HER2-

Hi there - yes indeed - ER+/PR+ but Her2 neg. I've understood this to be a "helpful" diagnosis - the ER+/PR+allows for hormone therapy, which my oncologist says will be responsible for 70% of the effectiveness of my total treatment plan in reducing recurrence risk. Not entirely sure how the Her2 neg plays into this, but it seems to remove it from the list of things needing to be considered when coming up with the treatment plan.
-
im not sure if this is what you mean. im stage 3c triple negative invasive they took 16 nodes out during lumpectomy and all were positive i wish i understood all this. im so overwhelmed!
-
3A. Er/pr +. HER2-
8 of 24 nodes
Three years from diagnosis. AND counting
-
yes! I am
-
Yes ER and PR + but HER neg, and 4 years out now.....
-
I'm Stage III lobular, ER+/Pr-, Her2 neg; grade 2, 2/10 nodes positive. I think this is a common pattern for ILC women.
-
I"m triple negative and stage 3 - waiting for full pathology for the exact placement in stage 3.
