it's the other breast! The woman that did the scan was not very informative. Said there were a lot of cysts. Hopefully that is all. 😡 find out next week.

Sharon, I think they are pretty good at distinguishing between a cyst and a potentially cancerous lump. Hang in there, and please post as soon as you know anything. I will be thinking about you.

Next week, that is insane. Why so long?

I'm all clear! Ha I can't believe how giddy I am with relief. No solid masses, just cysts. Lucky for me I asked them to send a copy of the results to my gp. I rang their office to see if they had them. They didn't, but said that she would keep an eye out. She has just rang me back. She said she saw them come in and raced into my Dr's office and said 'quick check sharons results for me' omg omg omg. That's my first all clear! Now for the mammogram on Monday. But I'm feeling pretty good about that now.

Thankyou all. It's amazing how much you guys help! It's the first place I run to

Big grateful hugs to you all xxx

Re: sleep, I take Ambien. My MO is an insomniac too and he told me it's fine to take it every night for as long as I want, as he's been doing it himself for years and it's still effective. I was scared to try it but I don't have any SEs at all and it's still working great for me.

thanks. I feel so much lighter this morning. Although for some strange reason the scales don't agree 😜

I'm copying all your suggestions to send to mum. I hope something helps her. I have a feeling poor sleep hygiene is a big factor.

Ok back to work today, let's see if I can make a whole day. Enjoy, hugs to all.

Eileen, have you started your job? How are you feeling?

I kind of hate the term 'sleep hygiene'. It makes it sound like you are dirty and need a shower. :)

    Tomorrow is my cancerversary.

Allison- I still haven't figured out the right thing to say on a cancerversary.

For now let me say again, although I'm sorry for the reason, I'm really glad you became a part of my life this year. You are a brave, smart, funny woman. I hope there aren't too many unwanted, unmanageable emotions tomorrow. 💞💞💞

I would know either, Katy! Maybe we should start a line of cards?

You have added greatly to the quality of my life as well….as have all of you.

Whew Sharon - you must be so insanely relieved.

I did start my job - last Monday. It's fun although my "students" are newly 2 years old so it's sometimes like herding cats or drunk people. It's me and a co-teacher. She is very nice but we have different ideas on what 2 year olds need and I find myself sounding negative. So tomorrow she is doing an activity that I think is so beyond the scope of the 2 year old universe but I'm just rolling with it. We need to figure out a balance between us & our styles.

Herceptin today for me. Saw my PCP as I don't feel any better after 5 days of antibiotic for uti. She says herceptin is still active treatment and I need to understand I may have side effects like chronic uti and nausea until it is done! Ugg. My vacation cannot come soon enough. Glad you guys are all doing well!

Lovemylab how many Herceptin infusions do you have left? I have two. Then hopefully we can move on somewhat

I have two Herceptins also. I have a countdown on my phone: 35 days to go.

I'm not done until end of May so 6 left if I counted right. Cannot wait to be done. Hoping then my bladder goes back to normal. I asked my PCP if I could stop early. She said no.

Happy Hump day all you wonderful strong women! I have finally caught up on reading, it took me awhile. I was in Florida for 2 weeks and had a fabulous visit with my parents. Now I'm back to appointments and such, only working very part time.

Congrats Eileen on your job!! I love 2-3 year olds not sure I could do it all day though. Your commute time is crazy, what is the deal? Is your daughter in medical school? I did not feel my lump just lucky with regular mammo at 49.

Glad your report was good Sharon! And love the new puppy! The alpaca photo is great would love to be able to be around animals like you.

Katy so glad your surgery went well!

Allison not sure congrats is the right words but You made it thru to a year - yippy! Do something special to celebrate the strong woman you are!!

As I read about everyone's cancerversary and get ready for my own next month, I'm reminded of how much anxiety and pain and heartache we have had to endure. I'm all about being positive and hope and all but I truly believe we are Strong Women who have been able to gather strength from each other. Sometimes its just so damn hard to get through the day and knowing each of you are here gives me the fortitude to go forward. I'm on a mission to be as healthy as I possibly can and not let cancer kill me. And I thank each of you for sharing your lives, your wisdom and your love!

I'm off to grocery shop before they run out of milk and bread, I'm in the path to get 1-2 feet of snow, did I ever tell you I hate winter!!!

Not sure I can do a meet up in Chicago, are we not doing the lake house?

Chronic UTI is because of Herceptin? I have that problem but I was blaming the Tamoxifen

My cancerversary came and went and I didn't even pay attention. I remember nothing of that day this year, so I guess it's good.

I have just one more Herceptin and the last one is on the anniversary of my MX. Hmm, this one I may pay attention too, but I think it will be a positive day marking the end of this part of my treatment. Hopefully I can get deported soon after that. I didn't know that Herceptin caused bladder issues. I'm hoping it will improve for me one Herceptin ends - no UTIs just overall things are not normal for me over there recently.

Had a little setback on the reconstruction. I think that my implant is a little too big in comparison to my other side, so I will have it swapped for a smaller one and then I'll have to wait for a couple of months for fat grafting and nipple reconstruction.

I think my eyelashes are falling out again, for the third time.

Maryellen - I'm all set for the lake - I guess we had trouble with scheduling. Can we try again? I am open to really anytime. I would love to get together there - there's so much room, we can all cuddle by a fire, or hangout on the dock depending on the season. I am off the last 2 weeks of April just to start an availability conversation.

BB - my implant is too small. I'm devastated. After the TE and such why is my fake boob soooo much smaller than the real one? I feel like all that time, money, pain was for nothing. And not only is it too small but my whole boob is lumpy and misshapen. I have an appt 2/4 to ask wtf?

Today was a crazy day at work. My co-teacher told our boss that if they don't change some stuff she's quitting...she's really high strung and doesn't really understand 2 year olds and their developmental stages. Frustrating.
