Need help with relief of nausea with Kadcyla.

Currently starting Kadcyla. Onc says because Kadcyla has low emetogenic rating nausea is not a problem. I am currently recovering from pituitary surgery and started Kadcyla two days ago...much nausea. My concern is retaining the wt I have lost with surgery. I would appreciate any help regarding an oral preparation that would stop the nausea. Thank you big time! Peg

    I'm not doing any chemo myself but had nausea and vomiting from my pain mess so I understand your misery. Try going to the Search and put in Kadcyla nausea and you will find others with the same problem and how they handled it. Hope this helps Sending you warm hugs.

    I made a "tea" out of sliced fresh ginger steeped for about 20 min. Can sweeten if need be or add a traditional tea bag. I also found sleepy time tea helped and it's good hot or cold. But please get some meds from your MO if it's severe.

    I didn't have K. Had AC. My first round was horrible but I think it was because I was so scared. My cc offers Jin shin jytstu and that was a huge help. I still practice it today. When I had ins problems my PCP sent in rx for anti nausea. I also found white carbs to help. Had to keep something in my stomach at all times.

    If it didn't sound good, it wouldn't stay. As much as I hated to throw up, I always felt better afterwards.
