After dealing with an open wound due to a seroma for almost a month, with daylytrips to the hospital , I am going to have surgery to close it next Thursday. Thank God!!! They will put a drain for a cuple of days and I hope everything goes wellso I can move ahead with tratment.

    Good luck! I had mine sutured closed as soon as it exploded--the BS’ nurse said to keep it open, change gauze several times a day and let it heal from the inside out...for weeks to months. No, thank you. Surgeon gooshed out some more fluid, sutured it shut w/o drains, and after the sutures were removed 2 wks later, it’s been fine. (3 mos. so far, knock wood).

    I had a lot of fluid coming out, I mean A LOT!!! almost a litter the first week,on antibiotics also, finally is clean, can not wait.
