Just dx with stage 4 breast CA while pregnant

Please help direct me to the right place. I just started chemo during pregnancy and need support. I would like to connect with others who are also pregnant going through treatment. Thank you!!

    Mel, so sorry to learn of your diagnosis while being pregnant. Please check out the chemo forum. There should be a thread for January 2016 chemo.....usually every month, ladies who begin their chemo start a thread and compare notes throughout. Also, consider posting your thread in the stage iv forum here on this website. Since you are dealing with both stage iv bc and pregnancy, it should help in getting more of a response from others who have or are dealing with issues same as you.

    Hello, Melmsw. I am not pregnant, but I am stage iv and know how much we need to connect with others in a similar situation. Divine has some good suggestions. Below are two threads I found that may be relevant. You might want to do some searches with keywords like pregnant or pregnancy, and limit the search to forums like Stage IV or Young with Breast Cancer. Once you get search results, a good trick is to go to the bottom of the page and click on Sort by Relevancy (rather than by date). Don't give up. I think you will find great support here once you find or start the appropriate threads. I don't usually care for the fight metaphors, but wow. Fight like a Mom.

    So sorry you have to go through this especially at a time when you should be celebrating. There are some other gals that were pregnant and doing chemo. Do a search using the keywords of pregnant/pregnancy and see what comes up on the message boards. I know you will find some women that will offer support and guidance that have the same situation. Feel free to private message them too. Most of the gals on here will message back. Good luck.
