I have been wanting this process to hurry up and start already, but now, I will see the oncologist on Monday and it is all becoming very real. I had my PET scan today and the Dr. will have the results before I get there, so he will have pretty much all the information he will need at that point to really start getting the show on the road. I was diagnosed in December and it started to feel like things were taking forever; now we are much closer and it is sinking in. I am still feeling confident it will be completely fine in the end, I am just getting a bit more worried about treatment and still having to continue with my normal routine.

The waiting is the hardest part!

Just know that doctors are really good at treating breast cancer these days and chances are, you're going to be fine!

    Good luck with your appointment!

oh that darn waiting! Excruciating. Kimm992 is absolutely correct that Drs today have a lot of skill and information. So please try to stay positive. I was diagnosed in August and I just took what they said good and bad as the first steps of the work ahead and then focused on the work and my confidence in those treatments and the Drs would perform them.

Like many, I also conducted many late-night online research sessions - which can be both a benefit and a curse as there is an argument for everything right down to whether quinoa is good or bad for you(!) yes I actually found an article warning about side effects from quinoa. Crazy, The key is - every person is unique. Stats are not a one size fits all.

Try to take lots of deep breaths along the way. You are not alone in all this madness. Some worry Isgood - it keeps us moving forward. :)
