Do they test for her2 amplification in both tumors or in the biggest oneIn my case they are both grade II IDC with mucinous diferenciacion

Good question. I have multicentric HER2+ but I never thought of that.

You do have mixed mucinous carcinoma. Here is a great page on that:

They tested both of my tumors.

I don't know if they are pure or not, it does not say in the final path report, just multifocal, both grad 2, both mucinous diferenciation

I just talk to my oncologist, my her2 came back negatve after Fish. I askred him about the small tumor and he told me that in the final parh report both tumors share the same caracteristics, grade, mucinous component, so from his point of view the small one will be her 2negative also. He ordered the mamoprint test

I read pathology criteria again. As I understand, pure mucinous is >50% mucinous overall, mixed is >50% mucinous in some areas, and mucinous differentiation is <50% in all areas.

The more mucin, the better, but still seems pretty good!
