Her2+ but FISH neg, confused

I was diagnosed a few weeks ago with a 4cm tumor ER+,PR+, her2 3+ with IHC test. I was scheduled to get TCHP chemo but It was put on hold because my FISH test came back negative. I am so confused. My oncologist wanted to treat as if her2-, but I voiced my concerns about the accuracy of the test and she requested a repeat of the tests to confirm. What does it mean if tests come back like this? Am I truly her2-? Did anyone have anything similar happen to them

    They should retest using more cells, I think 60 rather then 20.

    I had a positive HER 2 on both IHC and FISH after biopsy, an indeterminate IHC after surgery but then the FISH was negative.  The more thorough test found me to be HER2-.

    Keep going until you feel satisfied!

    I had already bought head scarves for chemo and had started cutting my hair!
