Thanks to all of you ladies. I may not be able to compose such elegant appeals to God but I do know that HE will listen and be with me. I will use some of your lovely prayers in my appeal to HIM>

Car2tenn, Thank you, you are very kind.

Heavenly Father, may this new year bring us what we need. May this new year bring us peace and may we spread that peace all around us. We continue to pray for new meds that will bring a cure. Amen
-
Sending best wishes of the new year to all of you.
I'd like to thank those of you who continue to pray daily for those of us on this forum. I am always aware that you do, and I'm touched by your continuing commitment to prayer. I also pray tho I admit I am not as consistent with it as I'd like t be.
I hope you don't mind, I'm posting a link here to a recent article my sister in law posted to her FB page. She is also one with a rich prayer life. The nicely written article is in response to the recent attack in the media concerning prayer and is titled "5 Reasons Why We Pray During Tragedy". I feel it applies to prayer in any situation.

Dear God
Keep your arms around all of us and give us comfort. Protect us from the difficulties and roller coaster of cancer. Bless those who are sick and in pain and offer up your tenderness and love to all of us. Amen

O Christ Jesus
When all is darkness
And we feel our weakness and helplessness,
Give us the sense of Your Presence,
Your Love and Your Strength.
Help us to have perfect trust
In Your protecting love
And strengthening power,
So that nothing may frighten or worry us,
For, living close to You,
We shall see Your Hand,
Your Purpose, Your Will through all things.

I am praying for peace as I wait for results to upcoming PET scan. I have been told I am terminal, no cure, so at the risk of sounding like I am still in denial I will pray for a cure everyday, untl I die. My God is still in that business.Ame
