Badatusernames, I almost missed your post and I'm sorry to hear the news. I hope they can start treatment soon and send those buggers packing!
Love the photos, socalLisa, Twohobbies and Claire! They make me want to go outside. But it's been so rainy here, I'm drenched just biking to the gym. Last night I hung my coat and jeans outside the sauna to dry while I did Body Jam and weights. Tonight is Zumba night.
-
Tonight is another 15-20 minute workout on the Gazelle
-
Bad, I am so very sorry to hear your news. We will be thinking of you and praying that your surgery puts you into a complete remission.
-
{{{Bad}}} I'm so sorry - what a terrible week for you. It's not fair. I'm so glad that it appears to be treatable, and great they were able to get you into surgery so quickly. We're all here for you.
Dawn run this morning.
-
(((Badatuser..))) I'm sorry this is on your plate and as Ms.HeidiHill so eloquently put it, send those buggers packing!
Body Balance at the gym this am.
-
Bad, so very sorry at this news. Please know prayers going up for your surgery to send those suckers packing and for a quick recovery. Give your DH a big hug and let him know I am also praying for his strength through this as well.
-
Bad...Same goes for me. I will be praying for you and your husband.
-
Bad at. . .sending prayers and hugs. Praying for a successful surgery and TG it's treatable. Please know that you and your DH will be in my thoughts and continued prayers.
Not a good week. . .we got word that a mother at ds's school is Stage 4 and can no longer work. She's a single mom with 5 kids. Small school with mostly SNK students on our state's special needs scholarship, including my ds and his sister who graduated from there.
Exercise is one way that we fight.
Scottie
-
Work out got postponed to tomorrow night. Had unexpected come up.
-
Scottie: So sorry to hear about the mother at your ds's school. I can't even imagine what she is going through. If I remember correctly, didn't the school take up a collection for you when your were diagnosed? Sounds like a wonderful school with caring people there. Maybe something will be organized to help her and her children.
Walked/ran yesterday and today.
-
Wonderland. . .yes they did. They donated the money the kids raised selling pumpkins for BC awareness. They are asking for donations for the family this time. We will certainly donate and I know others will. I can't imagine either, but I can pray.
Scottie

Scottie, so sorry about the mom. Would other families be willing to organize a schedule and deliver meals a couple times a week? And/or car pools to get her kids to and from activities? Helpful things like that. Lots of sadness in this world; if we can find little ways to make things a tiny bit better for those around us....well, that it about all most of us can do.
Today was my last day of my everyday sub gig. It was fun to be the 'real teacher' for a couple weeks, but I am glad to have the time (and energy) for some other things beside school. Went to Barre tonight. So hard & so fun!

Long day today....Had a staffing 7:30 this morning then a class after work so by the time I got home, it was a 12 hour day!!! Next Tuesday will be the same as the staffing today is being continued next week after work so I'll be there from 7:30 to 6:30!!! The class was good, but still long!! I did manage to walk when I got home before making dinner and it felt food. I should go for another walk but its getting late!!! At least today I got 14K steps, more than the past few days. Cuz my fitbit battery was empty on Sunday it didn't record most of my steps so I look even worse so far for the week. Most of the snow has melted, but there are still slick spots out there so its dicey in places. A few near misses!!
-
Badatusernames, I'm sorry to hear your news and send hugs and support your way. Praying for a path to a long remission for you.
-
Scottie, Like others, sorry to hear about the mom.....will add her to my prayer list.
Walked my 4 miles today. I should not complain about it being cold....cool, I should say.....60 degrees. My sister, in Oregon does not feel sorry for me that I had to return home and put on a long sleeved shirt.
-
Badatusernames, I am sorry last week was so difficult. Sending hugs and prayers for you.
Scottiesmom, how awful about the school mom. Agree with Ruth that any small act of kindness can make a difference in the situation. Sending prayers her way as well.
Exercise for me has been bootcamp yesterday and today.
-
(((Bad))) such crappy news but glad you are getting such prompt treatment. Scottie so sorry to hear of the Mom at your DSs school.
Yesterday went to Cardio Dance Party and tonight was Body Jam. -
Have spent the week packing - on Saturday we're headed to the Caribbean for 2 weeks, and I can't wait. We're sailing the French West Indies for a week, then staying in St. Lucia for a week. With all the drama we went through last year, we promised ourselves a long relaxing trip once it was all over, and it's finally here. I finished packing last night, so tonight my plan is to unpack everything and put it all on the bed, and and go over everything with an eagle eye and figure out what I don't really need. I always end up overpacking and half the stuff never even leaves the suitcase, so I'd like to avoid toting stuff that I don't have to take. We're traveling light - we're each taking just a gym bag and backpack as the cabins in the sailing ship are really tiny - so I want to pare down as much as possible.
Pilates DVD this morning.

Wow, Mary! Have fun!!
Have been doing more Declutter and Sculpt. I'm hoping to be finished by Chinese New Year.
-
Good thing I don't have to go outside for a walk today, its windy as Hades outside!
-
Enjoy, Enjoy, Mary!! You so deserve it!!
Ruth, you are subbing a lot, that is so awesome!!
SoCal Lisa, that is so neat! What incredible memories you have of Cooperstown!! We visited Cooperstown a few years ago!! Loved it, and want to go back again!!
Moving and Sculpt has been my exercise for the last week!! Did a lot of lifting, walking up and down stairs and running after the grandkids!!! Caught a cold!!
Karen, our family moved to Idaho, so experienced the cold weather again!! We will be back😃😃😃
Love reading all your posts, and prayers for those who have lost loved ones, or are experiencing new challenges!!
-
Mary, what a fun trip you will have!
Kathy, I don't really like to sub that much. I was filling in for a friend while she recovered from surgery.
-
Oh yeah, we are supposed to talk about exercise. My walking group did laps around the mall for an hour and then pooled our money (putting in $3.00 each) and bought some Powerball tickets. Hmmmmm.....however will I spend my 1/11th of the winnings?
-
I know how you'll spend it Ruth - traveling to every historic site in the US!
-
Wanna come with?
-
I'd love to!! I just need to retire first . . .
-
We can dream!
-
Have fun Nats!
Speaking of dreaming, where are we on our 2016 plans? I need to start saving!
2 hour Line Dance class today. Fun and a great workout.
Night sculpted friends.
-
Just finished my workout and I'm tired!
-
Wow Mary! Enjoy the well deserved vacation.
Ruth, love that the WWW got caught up in lotto fever too!
Exercise for me today was 30 minutes walk/run on the treadmill.
Hoping to win the Powerball jackpot myself. Would be the best birthday present ever!!! Lol
