Been feeling crap. Getting back in bed
-
Hope you can get some rest & feel better!
Not a beautiful beach picture, but here is what it looks like around here right now. On the edge of my town is a Frontier Village (tourist stop). There are some real buffalo who live the valley below the village and this large statue.

ruth. How cool. The snow is very pretty
-
Patty, has the diarrhea stopped

-
chelle. So beautiful. Would love to spend a week there.
Loverly. - big d slowing down to a couple times an hour. Guess I really am full of crap.
Love y'all and so thankful for your support

Yes,let's do! I'll bring some wine. Build a big crackling fire. And we will sit around and talk about our children. Some day Patty, when this disease is through with us, we will do just that
-
sounds perfect to me. How old are your children ? I can't remember anything
-
my youngest is just now 14, the middle daughter just turned 21 and the oldest daughter just turned 26. Our oldest is actually our niece. My sister had m.s. And passed back in 99 when Elizabeth was only 9 years old. I'm happy to announce that she is expecting our second grand baby in August! She has a five yr. old son( seen in my avatar) Wyatt. He is the first boy in three generations. Little boys are an entirely different can of worms than all of the girls. He's such a joy for us!
-
boys are def a different can of worms. Lol. How exciting to have another g'baby on the way. Wyatt is adorable.

Aww Patty, I was hoping after you got sprung this Christmas that feeling good would last and last. Sorry to hear you are feeling "poopy" and hope you are back in the pink soon! I really enjoy the beautiful pics everyone is posting for you. Chelle, you have had your share of sorrows that's for sure....Sooo lucky to have those blessed kids and grandkids!
-
Patty,
Was out of town for a couple weeks over the holidays and then busy, so finally getting caught up on the board - read the last five or so pages of your thread just now. I'm so glad you got to be home for Christmas and have those special times with your boys. I am So so happy to hear about your scan results!!! I wish you were feeling better though - will be sending lots of prayers your way.
Love and hugs, Amy
-
amy. Thanks. That's so sweet of you. I am so thankful for all the people who are continuing to pray for me \ us.
Certainly this is where two or more people are gathered, right? Anxiously awaiting some physical results.
So, what did you do during your vacation? Family time. Extreme adventure sports .....
-
We went to see my youngest son (24) and his girlfriend in Virginia and my mother-in-law in South Carolina. We spent Christmas with my MIL and stopped for a few days on either end in Virginia. We see Noel's mom once a year and Evan and Elizabeth twice a year, if we're lucky, so it was nice to spend time with them.
Now it's back to our busy, crazy life which just got a lot more so! Our older son, his girlfriend, and our grandson live with us, and Vicki had a fall last Sat. and broke all the bones in her ankle! She had surgery today to put plate and pins in, and they said she'll have a cast for six months, and likely pain for a year and a half! Our grandson is only 20 months, so between my DS, DH and myself, someone has to be here all the time to watch him and help her out! We all work, but David works nights, so we're able to work it out. I'm just glad they're here though, or she would have been alone with the baby when it happened!
-
Hopefully, this image will warm you up with Arkansas cold weather
-
hey patty!! Sorry the big d is still hanging around. That sucks...especially when scans were good...hoping you feel better real soon!
We stay in town and have three or four Christmases. It's hectic but fun! The BEST news we got was that my brother and his fiancé are going to have a baby!!!!! I've always wanted to be an aunt and my bro so deserves to be happy after all he has been through (8 years of severe ulcerative colitis--y'all would have a lot of "shit" to talk about!
). So then they elope to key west and get married! He is 41 and this is his first marriage and baby!!!!! I am beyond happy for him and his wife.
I've been lucky to not have the complications you and so many others have/had. It is hard to stay positive and in the moment when the basic things in life are so challenging. I hope you can have some solace when you come to the boards and see and feel the outpouring of love for you! We are here to cheer you on, support you, make you laugh and smile, and give you a place to express any emotion. We will continue to be here...awaiting your next post!
Let's see if I can find a pretty picture for you and post it...
This is in St. John USVI. (On a side note, have you considered doing any kind of retreat with the fam? I can't remember if you have. Sorry. Mush for a brain.)
-
Hope you are resting well

Thinking of you, Patty.
