Should I Consider Radiation?

Hi all~

I was hoping to get some feedback on radiation therapy. I am a double negative, HER2 positive gal who just had a double mastectomy 12/18/2015, and completed 6 cycles of chemo prior to that. Had a complete response to chemo and clean margins. Could not find any trace. Will continue with Herceptin/Trastuzumab for 6 months (one full year total). With these results, nutritional therapy, high doses of vitamin C IV therapy, vitamin supplements, do I need to consider radiation therapy? Thank you!

    Did your doctor suggest radiation therapy in addition to the rest of your treatment plan? You might want to head over to our Radiation Forum as well, and read through some of the posts there. Many of our members have similar diagnoses and have made different decisions regarding radiation, so you'll surely get plenty of responses to help guide your decision!
