Hi, congrats on the two years out! There are tons of compression options. Some of the BC sisters here helped a company develop a compression garment for breast cancer women, the thread here on BCO is very informative. The thread is called...."Shirt Design for Lymphedema", check it out! Also, pop in some of the Lymphedema forums and pose your question, you will get good info. Best wishes your way!

I use the EAB breast binder for compression. It looks like a tube top. I recommended the LINED ones,,, softer. Posting a link,,, hopefully when you see the pictures,, you will find something that will help your Mother.
-
There are also compression shirts, like Meadow said. You may want to come over to the Lymphedema area and ask,,,, lots of information,, and very helpful people over there.

In preparation for rads, I bought a couple of those EAB binders, but the XL size is way too small for me (not just breasts but gut). Wonder if I put two together whether they will be too big or just right?

worth a try. Be interesting to get the measurements of the widths of each size so you could figure out what you need. Maybe 2 mediums would work,,,

I'm thin, so I had to make my own compression tube top. It wasn't too difficult. I got something called shapewear & cut the top off. I wore the part intended to go around the waist around my chest. All the products I found at the time would have been too big. Perhaps this will help. I also needed to insert a swell spot at times, for a problematic area.

Hmmm....I have an old Spanx-type half slip. Perhaps that’d work for the times I don’t want to wear a bra but still need support.
-
Especially if your need for compression is new, I would STRONGLY suggest a workup for lymphedema by a trained professional. If you don't have it; great, but if you do, then the wrong types and amounts of compression can make it worse. Run, do not walk, to a trained professional. See the lymphedema forum for information about how to find such a person.
