small lung nodules and atalectasis

Hi,

I am not sure where to post this question. I was originally dx 2/13 did dose dense ACT, double mx, radiation, exchange and implant surgery, had a recurrence 7/14 and finished my Gemzar and Carboplatin the end of last Feb. I went for a cat scan and they found a small nodule that was 2mm some other subcentimeter nodules with atelectasis. These were not present in April nor detected in Aug through a Pet scan. Does anyone have any insight? I am assuming its a possible met but I know its too small to determine anything. If it is a recurrence again I would like to get the jump on it.

    Can they biopsy it? Sorry you are dealing with this

    HI, I am not sure if this helps, but I also have atelectasis and a 3mm nodule. I do have a cough. They're advising at this point it is not likely cancerous and assume benign. too small to biopsy. I did see a pulmonary doc too in addition to the Onco. Repeat scan to come. Good luck I hope you are okay.
