I had breast cancer  removed  and also lymph glands removed, have on going pain down right side.

    Hi phoenix, and welcome to Breastcancer.org. When did you have your surgeries? You may want to talk with your physician if it has been a long time.If it is recent, it may just need time to heal.

    Pheonix, did you have a mastectomy or lumpectomy? How long ago? I had a single MX and 22 lymph nodes removed on my left side, early on I had discomfort from nerves regenerating plus general healing. My Docs provided several post-op directions to help aide in healing and lessen pain and side effects. Were you prescribed pain meds?

    If it has been a short time since your surgery some localized pain would be common but if this is something you are concerned about calling your Docs like the Mods suggested is a good idea. If it's been a longer time since surgery I would defiantly suggest a call to your surgeon, they can always help you with pain management or get you in to see what's up. Best wishes to you.
