First follow up mammo is Wednesday

I am so anxious. I hope they will read it right away for me. I forgot to ask when they confirmed my appointment.

And I'm over hot flashes. They are really starting to depress me :(. The added anxiety isn't helping them.

    Hi CAMommy, my mammogram clinic which is part of Yale where I was treated give me immediate results due to the prior diagnosis. You can call and ask. Best of luck on the results!

    As for the hot flashes, that is the letrozole and you can ask your MO if you can take something for them if they are really bad. Hugs...I totally understand!!

    Hey CCMommy. I remember you from the summer 2015 Radiation Club. I have my follow up on January 20th and I am also experiencing the same anxiety. My BS ordered the imaging to include ultrasound and I am grateful for that. There is a second area of concern from my imaging back in April that is in the same quadrant as my DCIS and LCIS. After my imaging is completed I will see the BS. I also have some skin changes on the right breast that my BS and RO have also seen. They are both taking a positive view based on my clean MRI results from July.

    I am still very concerned.

    the anxiety is the worst. I hope it gets easier with time. I had my mammo today and they do read it right away. All clear for another 6 months. So relieved. But I'm emotionally and physically exhausted from it.

    Good luck on your follow up! I will say the mammo hurt a heck of a lot more this time.
