Beautiful!
What's that white stuff? Oh, I remember, SNOW!
It's gotten cooler here, but will warm up into the 70's this week. I can't believe I've actually turned our heat on and now will probably turn our air back on.

OH...so beautiful.......thanks for bringing back those memories. A sight that those of us in Florida don't see too often...........

Right now this is one of my favorite pics. My dear daughter. She's somewhere in Africa (this was taken in Sindou Peaks ) roughing it. She's been gone since January and I don't know when she's going to return to the US. I stole this off their website. They'll probably sue me.
Geez, I miss her and SIL. -
Huggssss, Shirley! I have a beloved stepson--early 30's who is also currently in Africa--Algeria. Some kind of univeristy job...we did manage to meet up with him in Mexico this summer and hope to see him at Thanksgiving. He has been gone so long, and we worry so about him!
I am in awe of the adventourous spirit of these kids--thanks for sharing a photo--way beyond my limited pc capabilities!
hugggssss, junie -

Wow, Lisa, you should frame your "art."
And, snowmen IN thongs (love that name), you don't do a bad job either.
Beautiful pics.
Shirley -
Okay, I haven't taken any of these. I'm just posting them.
I find these so interesting because I will NEVER travel as my daughter and SIL are doing. Nor do I want to. Some of the pics they post are really interesting. We just do not know how well we have it. Our country is the greatest...well, snowmen might want to disagree with that statement.
Anyway, this is an outdoor shower (and it's really nice) at the "resort" where my children stayed. They had a ball here. It was comfy and they had REAL beds to sleep on and wonderful food. They liked it so much they stayed there for five weeks! This is in Ghana. I can also show you pics of DD washing clothes in a bucket. LOL -
OK...I have photo envy! Teach me how to share the pictures I have on my desktop! Someone tried to tell my how to do it from a site called photobucket, but I could not get it to work. Does anyone know how to post things right from my computer??
Thanks
Deb C. -
if you go to photobucket three choices appear at the bottom of the picture ..right click on the bottom choice(IMG) and make it bold then click again and pick copy then right click on the reply box here aand choose paste.
This I took at Bryce Canyon -
I went to photo bucket and signed up then uploaded pics from my computer.
If you tell it to upload in the message board size then you should have to edit the size again.
but after the photos have uploaded scroll down to see them.
below them will be several boxes.
click in the last one below the pick you want it should then be highlighted blue,
right click and choose copy,
then come to this site and put you mouse where you would normally type right click and select paste.
give that a try and see if that makes any sense. -
this one is called snowy daze!!!

love it...thongs..where is it??
-
This is a picture from my sons front porch at the lake.
-
WOW!!!! The pics are incredible!! I love the beauty of the north, thongs, but don't think I'd be able to adapt to the weather... of course being close to Vancouver all we've seen is rain for the past couple days and do I mean rain... downpours....
Ooohhh and Africa... that's one place I want to go.
I've got to figure out how to post pics too -
hey socal, the snowy daze one is just across the road from me... its a snowmobile trail
man i am getting addicted to this......... my new found hobby
keep it up socal.... i love seeing the beauty of your world to
xxxxxxxxxxx
