Mammogram after Bilateral Lumpectomy

what is it like? How different will it be? I am already dreading it and saving some pain meds for that day

    How long has it been since the lx? I had an excisional biopsy before (basically the same as a lx, but no lymph nodes removed), and the mammo I had 6 months later was no different than any other one I'd had.Of course, they hurt like a mother before, so that's not saying much I guess :).

    Mammograms for me weren't that bad. It was a little more uncomfortable compared to the side that wasn't done, but still not bad.
