Yes, had mine done on the 24th and still waiting.
-
Sending positive thoughts your way ladies! I'm on vacation with my kids while my husband had to head home to work for a few days... Hard to keep focused on them while this is hanging over my head. But this forum has been a great place to vent frustration with this process.
-
So ladies any results back yet?
-
I'm sending you all positive vibes and prayers!
-
I received my Biopsy report back yesterday. It was done on the 23th. I received bad new it was Cancer. I am scheduled to see a surgeon today at 4 o'clock. I think is fast should I be alarmed about this. Please say a prayer for me today. thanks in advance .
-
So sorry about your news, JRowe. We were all hoping for a better result.
You are so lucky your surgeon is available so soon! Waiting to find out exactly what you have and what to do about it, is the absolute pits! Do focus on gathering information. Your surgeon will explain treatment options and, in general, what to expect in the next few months. Yes, you'll probably find a lot of the information brand new, so it is helpful to bring someone with you to help take notes and ask questions. The main website right here is a good place to come back to to fill in the blanks.
-
Oh no so sorry jrowe,no it is not a bad thing that you are seeing a surgeon soon. Not uncommon expecially if the patient to surgeon ratio is low.
-
Sorry jrowe. Sending hugs and strength your way😘 I would want quick action rather than delayed. I think it's a good thing that your doctor is urgently pro-active.
What kind of cancer is it? I have only gotten my most recent radiology report of the core needle biopsy. States 7x5x6mm solid mass with angulated margins, vascularity and coarse calcification. Hopefully results of the biopsy tomorrow.
-
Best wishes jrowe, sending hugs.
-
Thanks I am glad for the quick appointment, I am just nervous about it. The only thing I know at this point is The BIRADS IS 4C AND THE MASS is 1.5 x 0.8 cm. Praying for you that your biopsy report will come back good.
-
I had mine the 23rd and still no results, I'm getting increasingly frustrated. They have the biopsy procedures note, but no pathology yet.
-
Same thing here...biopsy on the 24th.
-
Checking back in on you ladies, thought for sure there would be some good news.Hope you are keeping your mind busy and hearts hopeful.

I just got the call driving back from an amazing day of skiing. I have breast cancer. I had a good cry on the side of the road and now I'm grabbing lunch and in a total state of shock. Just called my husband and he is a 3 hour drive away.
My appt with a team of surgeons and drs is next wed Jan 6. I'm waiting for a call from the breast cancer specialist to find out the details. Ugh. Happy New Year to me
-
So sorry to hear. If I could I would hug you, sending e-hugs instead and my thoughts are with you. If you need to talk, message me anytime.
-
Oh darn it,I am sorry to,was so hoping for you all to get good news today.
-
Thanks marybeary! Not that all this waiting was enough already... Now I have to wait for the follow up call for the details. This is a big fat WTF. Sub in "fudge" if you need to;
-
Thanks karlyrie;)
-
MLP3, so sorry to hear, thinking of you.
-
Wtf works just fine.... I would have said Fuck but that's me 😉 still waiting on mine.....everyone says to breathe deeply when stressed....I prefer to cuss.
-
Thanks LifeAkoft;)
Mary... I knew I liked you😊
-
Hello,
Sorry to hear. I ve never been in that position but from what othes say, it gets better when you get answers.
And treatment plan in place. It Sounds small so hipefully treatment wouldnt be too difficult.
Keep us posted,
Best wishes,
Alicki
-
Well, I got the "we need you to come in for your results" phone call...tomorrow morning. Ugh.
-
So sorry to hear the news ladies. As you have probably heard, once you get all of the information you need and start a treatment plan, it really does seem less stressful. I wish none of us had to go through this, but know that there is a lot of knowledge and support for you, here. Feel free to cry, vent, scream or whatever:)...we get it. You'll be kicking cancers' a$$ before you know it!
I hope those of you waiting get good news:)
-
I got the official call. IDC grade 3 ERPR+.
Yay.
She said most likely they are looking at a massectomy, scans(including full body).
I'm an idiot. I should have listened to my body months ago. I have a back pain directly behind my left breast, a full feeling under my armpit and my voice has been scratchy, I lose it and I constantly have to clear my throat. If this matasticized already... FUCK MAMMOGRAMS because it didn't pick this up.
-
Positive for IDC, grade 3, have to wait til next week for an appointment. I'm in a good place, let's do this!
-
We got this💪🏻
-
Your hoarseness is probably functional--breast cancer doesn’t metastasize to the larynx. A scratchy voice can come from dehydration, chronic postnasal drip, a bowed vocal fold (one of the vocal folds--aka “cords”--is slightly bent or weak and doesn’t contact the other in spots when vibrating), and acid reflux--the latter is usually the culprit if you constantly feel like you have to clear your throat.
-
You're probably correct;) It just started when this all started.
-
Well darn again. Sorry lifealoft. I was hoping some got good news. So much for the 80 percent are b9. Seems to 100 for the four of you.
