-
11. No neithrr written by nor is it Dr. Seuss
He is a fictional male person, pror tio the 20th century, from a printed medium, but has been in other mediums since. Not a super hero, he is an adult, and mischiebous doesn't really fit him
I think he probably is better known to people now from other than the printed mediu
-
12. Is he American?
-
12. No not an American
-
I just have to dive in here--Seasonal and all. . . . .
14. Is it Unle Scrooge?
-
i could tell you were getting close! Yes, it is old Ebeniezer Scrooge
-
I guess it is my turn again.
Let's play Animal, Vegetable, Mineral.
It's Vegetable.
-
1 is it green?
-
Kay_G: thank you for a good game! If it's any help/comfort, I'd have considered Scrooge to be in the same category as Holmes: began as a character in a printed media, but is now also known through television and film.
Brookside: I'm a crummy guesser, but I'll try a question or two.
1) Is it considered a foodstuff? (your choice of cultures)
-
Oh my, I went to bed last night thinking the last one was Scrooge, not kidding, wake up this morning to find out yep!
-
1. Part of it is green.
2. Some consider it to be a foodstuff.
-
3) Is it primarily/largely considered a cultivated plant? (e.g. lettuce, nasturtium)
4) Is it an annual/biennial? (I know, I know. Two different things.)
-
3. Yes, cultivated.
4. Annual.
-
Please don't think I've forgotten you. I'll be out for a couple of hours (hair appointment--very critical!).
-
5. Dandelion
-
Annual as opposed to perennial, correct?
-
Summary: a cultivated annual, some consider it foodstuff, part of it is green.
Thinking: This means that part of it is another colour. and some may not consider it food.
6. Does it produce edible fruit?
-
7. Is it something people would usuallygrow in a flower pot?
-
Musiclover: yes, I was thinking annual in the sense of "something that needs to be replanted every year, assuming you're in the correct climate for the plant". (I love pottering about in my garden.)
-
Yes, its an annual. It's not a dandelion (isn't that a perennial?). It is not found in a flower pot (or not normally).
-
8. Is it a bush?
-
yeah, dandelion is a perennial. I entered it and then realized my error, hence the perennial/annual question.
-
8. Not a bush
-
I think I forgot to mention that it is not a fruit.
-
Ok it shouldn't be a bush or a tree, because none of those are annual, correct? Then it is a plant but it cannot be grown in a planter? And it does not bear fruit. It is mainly green but not entirely. (I was thinking Marijuana but that can be grown in a pot, correct?) Just brainstorming with the other ladies here. Not ready to give an answer yet.
-
It can be grown in a pot, but that is not where it is normally found.
-
OK thank you.
Since you live in VT I'll guess 9. Marijuana? (I hope you know that I am kidding on the VT part)
I'm probably wrong in any case....
-
Good guess, but no.
My son once had one of these lovelies growing in a pot in his closet, complete with growlight. Alas, I found it and out it went.
To tell the truth, if he'd just left the plant on the windowsill and said it was a school project, I'd probably never have guessed. Well, come to think of it, the giggling would probably have tipped me off.
-
10) Is the consumable portion of the plant exclusively eaten? (cooked or raw)
11) is the plant chiefly regarded as ornamental?
