I need some support

Hi Girls!

I have been on this site viewing things since my original diagnosis three years ago. I don't post much. Things have been rough these last couple days and I wanted to see if anyone could share any positive stories with me.

Three weeks ago, my father-in-law had a really intense surgery that almost led to his death - I was under a lot of anxiety as I had to help my mother-in-law understand all that was going on etc. I had some nausea for a few days and one evening I felt really full, like painfully full long after eating... I did have a big meal and it wasn't my usual healthy fare. I didn't think much of it... chalked it up to anxiety.

Two weeks later I had another experience of feeling really full long after a meal that was bigger than usual... the discomfort lasted into the next day. My thought went to my past gallbladder problems. I have also had one time where it felt like I was having a muscle spasm right under my rib... it spazzzed out and made a ball that I could feel then it went away and the balled up muscle feeling has been gone since.

I am unbelievably terrified this could be liver mets. I don't want to know before the holidays... any stories of something that you thought would be liver mets that wasn't or any word from anyone with liver mets who has been around for years and years?

    Hi hearmeroar,

Just replying to bring you some comfort. Relax! Your symptoms started during a stressful period and it is quite natural for your stomach to show a reaction like this. Having calm thoughts like 'I definitely do NOT have mets till they found any' and 'these sensations would not freak me out when I was no BC patient, so why let them do it to me now?' always help me to alter my panicky feelings.

Hope you will get more informative replies from others!

It really sounds a lot alike my gallbladder problems! I don't know what are the symptoms of liver mets, but I think they would be persistent? Maybe I'm wrong, but I think you should enjoy holidays!
