It serves a whole community that is larger than local, smaller than universal

My answer was, "Not exactly." Earlier, I had tried, "Yes/No."

You were not wrong, but not exactly correct..it's a matter of semantics (former English major here).

As you no doubt figured out, where I was unsure of the correct answer was whether to call it a building. Sort of. Sort of not.

Anyway, you're it.

And I wasn't certain if that is considered a place or a thing, probably both. I did say to myself that the statue could be moved somewhere else it would be difficult but possible so THING maybe that is a good differentiation.

I guess I'd think of Liberty Island as a place, the statue as a thing. Of course, although living my first 50 years in the NYC area, I never ever went there, so, on a personal level, it was a thing i spotted from the Belt Parkway.

The THING vs PLACE thing can be confusing though, right? I didn't think about it until this one.
