Pre-exchange discussion - odd fleshy area under arms/back

Hi folks. On 12/22 I am going for my final expansion and consultation with my PS regarding the exchange. I feel prepared for the size/shape discussion, but I am wondering about something. Once I had the TE's placed I developed this fleshy spot under my arms towards my back/lats. It seems like back fat/skin that used to have a continuous look from back to side of breast but now it sort of hits either the expander or the internal incisions and it looks odd - like a little squishy blob/area that does not look natural. I'm fairly lean - certainly not perfectly so (!) - and while that area did show before my surgery when I would wear a tighter bra, it was not a "trouble spot" for me. It was nothing that bothered me much before. Anyhow, I am curious if anyone experienced this and if it was corrected during the exchange. My nurse said to bring it up to the PS on 12/22 which I will. But I figured many of you may have experienced this? Any thoughts would be welcome!

I had a bit of a bulge in the right side. My PS asked me what I wanted corrected at the exchangeand I said I didn't want to pull my arm forward and have it rub that spot. At the exchange she did some pocket work and lipo in that area. It looks good.

I had a couple of areas like that that the PS wasn't able to take care of at the time of the exchange, but I had 2 revisions afterwards which took care of the problems. They were quick, local anesthetic, 1/2 hour procedures. But certainly let your PS know what you don't like. I wanted a smooth look as I wouldn't be wearing a bra to hide anything. GG

This is great to know. Now I have more confidence they may be able to adjust the area. I will put it on my list of questions/corrections! Thank you both!

I just had this conversation with my surgeon. He said he'd lipo it and then remove any excess skin. I'm assuming this will be done at the time of exchange...I hope so anyway because I'd love to be done with surgeries ;).

Thanks Trichick! That's comforting! My PS visit is next week and that makes me feel more optimistic!
